An easy honey mustard dressing for salads. Sweet, tangy and with a gentle Dijon mustard note.
Combine the four pantry ingredients in a jar, add a pinch of salt and pepper, shake and serve.

📋 What do we need?
Full recipe with detailed steps is in the recipe card at the end of this post.
- Olive oil — the base that helps the dressing coat leaves. Use regular olive oil for a neutral flavour or extra virgin for a greener, more pronounced taste. For the honey and mustard to shine, regular olive oil works well.
- White wine vinegar — adds a clean tang to balance the honey.
- Honey — provides sweetness that pairs perfectly with mustard.
- Dijon mustard — smooth and mild. Substitute English mustard if you prefer more heat, but add it gradually. For extra texture and depth, stir in a teaspoon of wholegrain mustard.
- Salt and pepper — start with a pinch of each and adjust to taste.

Yes. Store the dressing in an airtight jar at room temperature for up to a day or in the refrigerator for up to a week. Remove it from the fridge 30 minutes before serving to bring it closer to room temperature and shake well before using.
